Branch Elections
NAACP National opens branch officer elections each year. Eligible members are notified by email with voting instructions.
Juneteenth Block Party
An annual community block party marking Juneteenth, held in downtown Salem with food, music, and guest speakers.
Scholarship Applications
The branch's scholarship window opens seasonally for students pursuing higher education. Contact the Education Committee for current deadlines.
Advocacy & Testimony
The branch testifies before local and state government on issues affecting the community — timing follows the legislative and city council calendar.
