Building the next generation of leaders through mentorship, academic competition, and a seat at the table for young people in Salem-Keizer.

The Youth Development Committee connects Salem-Keizer students with mentorship, academic competition, and civic experience, and works to make sure youth voice shapes the branch's priorities.

Mentorship & Youth Council
Pair students with adult mentors and support a youth council that brings young people's priorities directly into branch decision-making.

Back-to-School & Supply Drives
Organize seasonal drives that put school supplies and resources in the hands of Salem-Keizer students who need them.

Scholarship Coordination
Work alongside the branch's scholarship program to identify eligible students and help them prepare strong applications.
