What We Do

The first call when something's gone wrong.

  • 01

    Intake & Complaint Review

Hear from community members who believe they've experienced discrimination — in housing, employment, education, policing, or public accommodations — and help them understand their options.

  • 02

    Referrals to Legal Resources

Connect complainants with attorneys, legal aid organizations, and the appropriate state or federal civil rights agencies for their situation.

  • 03

    Monitoring & Accountability

Track patterns across complaints and work alongside the branch's advocacy efforts to hold local institutions, including law enforcement, accountable.

  • 04

    Know-Your-Rights Education

Help community members understand their rights before a problem happens, through branch meetings and community events.
